Welcome to Ardchattan Parish
Worship at St Modans is suspended until further notice and our church building is now temporarily closed, but we live on!
A 'lockdown' message from our minister;
Since last night, Britain has been officially "locked down". Fair enough, but you can't lock down God Almighty... His Spirit will still move- like the wind... :)Posted by Willem Bezuidenhout on Tuesday, March 24, 2020
We are streaming a weekly message on YouTube, these are being recorded by our Minister Willem Bezuidenhout and his brother Louis Bezuidenhout, minister at Luss & Arrochar Parish.
If you are isolated and need support please fill in our feedback form and we will get in touch to help.
Our Church in Ardchattan serves the communities of Benderloch, Bonawe, Barcaldine, North Connel and surrounding areas, near Oban in North Argyll, Scotland. A part of the Church of Scotland, our Sunday worship is normally held at St Modan's church in the village of Benderloch. These services have been temporarily discontinued due to the Corvid-19 virus.
We are pleased to anounce that our new minister, Rev. Willem J Bezuidenhout, has now been inducted to our Parish of Ardchattan (which is now linked with the Parishes of Coll, linked with Connel). We look forward to continuing to worship together every Sunday, to meet through the week at church groups, and to share the love of Christ with our community.
Visitors are very welcome to join us in worship - times are shown on the 'calendar' page.
