Children’s activities - currently postponed
St. Modan's church runs a weekly Sunday School as required. Children start the service in church sitting with their parents and friends. Normally after the third item of praise the children move to a separate room for their Kids' Church.
The 'Kids' Church' is held in the Campbell Memorial Hall (found at the back of the church). It comprises two age groups. The junior section welcomes babies up to Primary 4, and the senior section for Primary 5 upwards.
There is a great sense of fellowship and fun within Kids' Church.
We aim to engage all ages of children with a variety of activities such as games, crafts, dramas, discussion, eating, singing and prayer.
The church has previously run Holiday Clubs for many years. They were hugely popular with children from our own parish and further afield.
The club ran for two hours every morning for the first week of the Easter and October school holidays with activities comprising singing, games, quizzes, challenges, stories and videos. We welcomed all children aged three years and up. It is hoped to re - start the clubs in the near future.
All the youth workers have many years experience and are all disclosed under Disclosure Scotland.
